Where Can I Get CBD Oil? How to Identify High Quality Products

If you have already decided that CBD oil is a good choice for you because of its many potential benefits, the next question you are probably asking yourself is where can I get CBD oil?

But the more important question is where can I get high quality CBD oil?

Before I talk to you about where to get high quality CBD oil, it’s important to understand what to look for when buying CBD oil.

How to identify high quality CBD oil

The label alone may not tell the whole story, you may need to do some research before buying CBD or hemp oil. Right now, since most purchases are being done online, it makes it easier to research before you buy.

These tips should help make sure the oil you are purchasing is high quality.

Where and how was it grown?

Identify where the hemp was sourced from. The more local to you the better because then you at least have some reassurance that it meets local laws and safety standards.

Also, organically grown hemp is a better option than non-organic. You want your CBD oil to be as free from any added pesticides and herbicides as possible.

Assuming you are in the USA, the best quality hemp will have been organically grown in the USA with a transparent seller that allows you to trace the plants right to the fields they were grown in. If you aren’t sure where it came from, move on.

You may have to pay a bit more for higher quality, but it’s worth it.

What level of THC does it contain?

Legally in the US, most states allow for a max concentration of .3 percent (1/3 of 1 percent) THC for CBD oil. High quality CBD oil will definitely have no more than that, and some will have even less. THC is the chemical compound in marijuana that gets you high. The reason CBD oil is legal and desirable is because it doesn’t have the same mind-altering affects as marijuana. If the CBD oil you are looking to purchase doesn’t have less than this amount, find a different one.

What part of the plant is used?

High quality CBD oil is extracted using the whole plant – seeds, stems, and stalk. This ensures the CBD oil you are purchasing contains all elements of the hemp plant for maximum benefit.

How is it processed?

Non-toxic processing is critical in determining the quality of the CBD oil you plan to purchase. A chemical free CO2 extraction method results in the purest CBD oil without using petroleum or other harmful chemicals to extract the oil.

Are 3rd party lab test results available?

A brand that makes 3rd party lab tests available provides peace of mind that the label matches what’s inside. 3rd party testing is evidence that the brand is telling the truth about their oils and is confident enough to make the proof public to back up their claims.

Where Can I Get CBD Oil?

Now that you understand that not all CBD oil is created equal and you know what questions to ask to identify high quality CBD oil, let’s answer the question, “where can I get CBD oil?”

CBD oil is everywhere lately. People are selling it online through stores, and online through sort of back alley methods. People are even getting banned from Paypal and Etsy for selling it from their homes like it’s a craft or hand-made project.

Below are just a few options for you to get started, it’s a rather limitless arena, as it is growing every day.

Etsy

A number of products on Etsy are CBD infused skincare items like lotions, roll-ons and soaps. The source of the CBD oil in these items is generally not disclosed, so if you want to know the quality, you can try and message the seller and ask. I’m sure there are some sellers that are buying high quality oil to put in their products.

Amazon

Tread lightly with Amazon when it comes to CBD and hemp products. While I’m sure that there are plenty of quality sellers, it’s just really difficult to know for sure. I’d honestly recommend anything other than Amazon if you are searching for a quality product that you know you can trust. That being said, if you have the time and want to do your homework, Amazon does have plenty of CBD oil options, cannabis edibles, and hemp lotions, among other things.

Just remember that even reviews on Amazon can be faked, or at least biased with free products, even if the reviewer claims to have made a “verified purchase” they may have been reimbursed for their review. So just keep that in mind.

Eden’s Garden

Eden’s Garden is a non-MLM essential oil company. Their products are affordable and come with a 30 day guarantee. They promise 100% pure products sourced from high quality growers and organic when possible. Although their products are not certified organic. Eden’s Garden has a hemp oil comprised of 100% hemp (cannabis sativa). Eden’s Garden Hemp Oil is to be used topically only, and with a carrier oil, it is not to be ingested. Eden’s Garden also has a body oil that contains hemp as one of its ingredients.

CTFO – Changing the Future Outcome

I have just discovered a CBD oil brand called CTFO and took advantage of their free income opportunity. Their products are sourced in the USA, obtained through CO2 extraction, and is of high grade, pesticide free, Non-GMO hemp. I haven’t yet tried their products so I can’t attest to a review, but I look forward to being able to share my experience with their products in the coming months.

The CBD Distillery

The CBD Distillery has a full line of CBD and hemp products from tinctures to vape pens. Their products are non-GMO and pesticide free. I definitely plan on trying their products, they seem to strive to provide high quality products.

Bluebird Botanicals

Bluebird Botanicals has an extensive quality control system that includes a full set of 3rd party testing certificates to back up their claims. The testing is available right on their website based upon the batch numbers of each product. Bluebird also has a full line of CBD products including pet products. I think this brand might be one of the first ones on my list to try because of their testing and reporting resources.

NuLeaf Naturals

NuLeaf Naturals cannabis oils are 100% organic, non-GMO and free of additives and preservatives. NuLeaf sources their products from hemp plants grown on their own farms in Colorado in the USA. They use CO2 extraction and whole plant extracts to retain the entire spectrum of cannabinoids. NuLeaf Naturals is third party verified as well.

Receptra Naturals

Receptra Naturals is pure, organic CBD oil sourced from plants grown in Colorado. Their products are derived from whole plant extracts and has third party testing that you can view on their website. Their products include extracts, topicals, pet products and lip balm.

Hemp Bombs

Hemp Bombs has one of the largest product catalogs I’ve seen so far of CBD products. They have CBD beard oil, CBD gummies, CBD capsules, CBD vape tanks and CBD pet products. Hemp Bombs provides third party testing results on their website and their products are sourced from organically grown hemp. This brand is certainly one of the most colorful brands I’ve seen.

This obviously isn’t a complete list of where can I get CBD oil resources, but it’s a great place to start. Use the checklist of high quality identifiers when researching products and companies and hopefully you will find the right product or brand for you.
